Oglethorpe County Head Coach Buddy Cain’s team will run the Wing-T on offense.

Running back D.J. Johnson (6-0, 185) is a big strong back and will be tough to stop.

Johnson will run behind an experienced and big offensive line.

Leading these “hogs” will be Jordan Ferguson (6-1, 240) and Orlando Cunningham (6-2, 235).

The defensive line may be one of the strengths of the team.

Cunningham, who is one of the Patriots’ toughest tacklers, will anchor that unit.

The same speed that boosts Oglethorpe County’s offensive backfield will boost it’s secondary.

Special teams is an Achilles heel for the Patriots. Look for the Tigers to take advantage of this weakness.

Last time these two teams tangled was the first round of the region play-offs two years ago. The Patriots came away with a 28-24 victory, which left Dawson County High School Head Coach Jeff Lee scratching his head.

Dawson was superior on both sides of the ball, but turnovers ended the Tiger season.

Dawson must make the 2-hour trip to Lexington for this match-up.

The Tiger coaches must keep their team focused as this is a tough field to play on.

The Tigers are currently on a four game losing streak, like Oglethorpe County.

Dawson County is banged up along the offensive line.

The Tigers will try and control the line of scrimmage with a bunch of inexperienced players.

Lee will have his team ready to play, but it will be a tough match-up for the Tigers.
