Dan Hugh Darnell, 52, of Forsyth County died Aug. 24, 2010.

He was a lifelong member of Daves Creek Baptist Church.

Dan worked for Pendley and Pendley as a real estate appraiser for over 20 years.

Survivors include his children, Holly and Jason Rich, Bradley and Courtney Darnell, all of Cumming, Whitney and Kyle Hollingsworth of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Baleigh, Owen, Brent, Elijah, Ethan and Elle; parents, Lewis and Hazel Darnell of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Cynthia Darnell of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Aug. 26 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Michael Cantrell and Scott Darnell officiating. Interment followed in Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
