Helen Bryant, 75, of Gainesville, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.

  

Born Jan. 30, 1935 to the late Thomas Lee Sr. and Carrie Lee Bryant, she was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Miss Bryant was a homemaker and attended Prospect Baptist Church.

  

Her sisters, Flonnie Reynolds, Lula Belle Ingram; and brothers, William "Jay" Bryant, Clarence Bryant, Willis Bryant and Thomas Bryant Jr.,  also preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and James Stephens of Pickens, S.C., Betty Sue and Roy Hicks, Dollie Wilkins, all of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Egbert and Linda Bryant of Gainesville; sisters-in-law, Mildred Bryant, Sara Bryant, both of Gainesville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Franklin Grant and Stanley Hicks officiating. Interment followed in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
