Robert Will Burke, II

Robert Will Burke, II, 76, of Cumming, died at his home on Sept. 18, 2008.

 

 

He was the son of the late Robert W. and Ethel Burke.

 

 

His beloved wife, Faye, preceded him in death.

 

 

A long time member of First Baptist Church in Cumming, Mr. Burke was also a Mason.

 

 

Survivors include his daughter, Robin (Joe) Stokes of Dawsonville; son, John Burke of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Hayley and Lindsey Holbrook and Julia and Jared Stokes; sister, Betty Siemion-Kosilof of Alaska; various other relatives also survive.

 

 

A memorial service was held Monday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made in memory of Robert Will Burke, II to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or (800) ACS-2345.

 

 

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
