Dawson County Middle School recognizes students of the month

Dawson County Middle School hosted the first Student of the Month luncheon Sept. 18. 

 

 

Teachers are asked to nominate students they feel show leadership skills and good character both inside and outside of the classroom. 

 

 

One male student and one female student are chosen from each grade level. 

 

 

Dawson County Middle School August Students of the Month were Derek Goodie, Kaila Burt, Stephanie Mivsek, Andrew Lovingood, Paige Reece and Jeremiah Freelund. 

 

 

The staff at the middle school would like to congratulate all of the selected students on a job well done.

 

 

Nicky Gilleland, superintendent and Doris Cook, chairwoman of the board, were also invited to the luncheon. 

 

 

The students received certificates, window decals and coupons from Longhorn Steakhouse.

 

 

Dawson County Middle School would also like to thank  Longhorn Steakhouse for donating the meal and Dairy Queen for donating the cake. 

 

 

Their support is greatly appreciated.
