Dawson middle football loses to Clear Creek

The Dawson County Middle School football team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 14-0 loss to Clear Creek Middle School last Thursday.

 

The Tigers will play Gilmer County this Thursday in Ellijay.

 

The team is still looking for its first win of the season.

 

“We will go back to work today (Monday) in an effort to create some offense,” said Dawson County Middle School Head Coach Frank Brown.

 

“The defense plays well. We are struggling on offense. We have played the two best teams in the league and hopefully this week we can turn things around,” he added about his team.

 

Clear Creek Middle School is currently tied with Riverview Middle School for first place. Both teams currently have a 2-0 record.
