Basketball team has banquet

The Dawson County Lady Tiger basketball team held its end of year banquet last week in the high school cafeteria.

  

Head Coach Steve Sweat and his staff presented awards to the following Lady Tiger players: Jessi Phillips, offensive award, Judith Hall, defensive award, Christian Daniel, rebounding, Carly Gilreath, most improved, and Morgan Bennett, coach award.

  

Kacie Bearden was presented the Junior Varsity Coaches Award by coach Jed Lacey.

  

The Lady Tigers also said goodbye to four seniors: Daniel, Hall, Alyss Woody and Nikki Dean.

  

The varsity Lady Tigers finished the season with an 11-13 record.
