Barbara Kovalski Anglin

Barbara Kovalski Anglin, 81, of Jasper, formerly of Griffin and Carrollton, died March 18, 2010.

  

Born in Atlanta on Oct. 21, 1928, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Howard L. Anglin Jr.; parents, Elizabeth and John Kovalski; six brothers and sisters.

  

A devoted mother and grandmother, she was affectionately known as "Nanny" by her family.

  

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jean A. and Dennis Richardson of Dahlonega, Judy A. Young-Haas and Carl Haas of Ellijay; grandchildren, Jessica Y. Tyler and husband Todd, Chris Richardson, Jon Richardson, Matt Richardson and wife Kristin, Brett Young and wife Laura; great-grandchildren, Emma and Max Tyler, Jordan and William Richardson, Donovan, Maya and Maddie Richardson, Mary Anglin and Reagan Richardson, Anglin Young; various other relatives also survive.

  

A private family Celebration of Life was held in her memory.

  

In lieu of flowers, contributions were requested made to the Georgia Transplant Foundation, www.gatransplant.org.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
