Jennifer Holtzclaw Darnell, 48, of Dawsonville, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010.

  

Born April 6, 1961 in Forsyth County, she lived in Dawson County for the past 11 years.

  

Mrs. Darnell was a 1979 graduate of Forsyth County High School and was a member of Cumming New Life Church. She was formerly married to Dan Darnell and was preceded in death by her mother, Trentha Holtzclaw.

  

Survivors include her children Holly and Jason Rich, Bradley and Courtney Darnell, all of Cumming, Whitney and Kyle Hollingsworth of Dawsonville; father, Maston Holtzclaw of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Elijah Hollingsworth, Owen Darnell, Tanner Darnell, Ethan Hollingsworth, Baleigh Rich; sisters, Robin H. Sims of Gainesville, Melanie Martin of Cumming, Tammy Shirley of Dawsonville, Julie Holtzclaw of Athens; brothers, Shayne Holtzclaw, Tracy Holtzclaw, both of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Harris officiating.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
