The Dawson County High School junior varsity boys basketball team lost to Lambert  High School 60-25 last Tuesday in Dawsonville.

Gunnar Armstrong led all Tigers scorers with seven points.

“We just had no effort from anyone on Tuesday night,” said junior varsity coach Wes Greer.

The team was outscored 22-0 in the fourth quarter to seal the win for Lambert.

“We are going to have to improve our intensity and effort if we are going to get any better,” Greer said.

The team will be back in action this Friday with a 4 p.m. tip-off at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville.
