Linzie B. "Slim" Kimbral

Linzie B. "Slim" Kimbral, 76, of Dahlonega, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009.

  

Born April 8, 1933 in Cartersville, to the late Dave and Elizer Kimbral, he had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 13 years having moved from Dawson County.

  

Mr. Kimbral was a retired carpenter.

  

His daughter, Frances Kimbral; two brothers; and, three sisters, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his children, Donnie Kimbrel, Aaron Kimbral, both of Kingston, Sandra Brown, Patricia Kimbral, Diedra Kimbral, Fabian Kimbral, Brian Kimbral, all of Adairsville, Deana Kimbral of Cartersville; sisters, Irene Higgins of Dawsonville, Frances Stowers, Martha Molder, Brenda Thompson, all of Cumming; brothers, Kimsey Kimbral, Leslie "Shorty" Kimbral, both of Cumming, Leonard Kimbral of Jasper; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

At his request, Mr. Kimbral was cremated.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
