Coie Lee Tatum

Coie Lee Tatum, 91, of Dawsonville, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009.

  

Born Dec. 19, 1917 to the late Paul and Etta Burt Tatum, Coie Lee was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. She was a 1934 graduate of Dawson County High School and was formerly employed by the Dawson County Board of Education in the school lunchroom and did poultry and general farming. She was devoted to the care of her parents and was the oldest member of McKees Chapel United Methodist Church.

  

Survivors include a number of devoted and caring cousins.

  

Funeral services were will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9 at McKees Chapel United Methodist Church with the remains placed in state at 10:30 a.m.

 

The Rev. Sven Mossenger will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
