Leland D. Mills, 78, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.
Mr. Mills was a member of Settingdown Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Mills; great-grandchild, Jonathan Hall; special friend, Corine Odell.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Harold Lowe of Cumming, Wanoga and Ken Hammond of Cumming; sister, Kathy Bryant of Jefferson; grandchildren, Mark, Dustin and Autumn Hammond, Lahoma Meek, Rhonda Hall and Amanda Bobo, all of Cumming; great-grandchildren, Angel Hansard, Jessica Northrup, Rachel Bobo, Madison Meek, Lindsey Meek, Stephanie Meek, Ashley Hammond, Cadence Hammond, Caitlin Hammond and Jesse Hammond; great-great-grandchild, Michael Kurinka; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 3 at 11 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Larmon Barron and Gwindle Gravitt officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
