Elizabeth Wilson

Elizabeth Wilson, 79, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness.

 

Born in Forsyth County, she had lived most of her life in Dawson County.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker, a licensed manicurist and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

 

Her parents, Johnny and Irene Garrett; sister, Wilma Turner; brother, Gerald Garrett, preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bryson Wilson of Dawsonville; son, Clyde and Ann Wilson of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Pat and Missi Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Gavin Wilson and Hayden Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kali Milford, Darby Wilson and Logan Wilson; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Revs. Ruel Martin, Stephen Davis and Cecil Reeves officiating.

 

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

 Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
