POSTED: October 6, 2009 3:34 p.m.

The Dawson County Middle School football team defeated Union County Middle School, 19-0, last Thursday in Dawsonville.

Coach Thomy Edwards’ team currently has a 3-3 record with one game remaining. The final game will be at 5 p.m. this Thursday at Clear Creek.

Logan Hayes had a huge game for the Tigers. He scored two touchdowns from 21 and 43 yards out. Colton Chester scored the remaining touchdown off of a three-yard run.

“I thought our defense played really well for the second week in a row,” said Edwards.
