Anita Marie M. (Kirchner) Kennison

Anita Marie M. (Kirchner) Kennison, 54, of Dahlonega, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009.

  

She was a member of both the Dawson County and Lumpkin County Chambers of Commerce, a member of Quinian Art Center, a member of Dahlonega Arts Council and a past member of the board for Bowen Art Center.

  

Her father, Allen W. Kirchner preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her husband, Al Kennison; mother, Catherine Kirchner Colleran; stepson, Randy Kennison of Woodstock; stepdaughter, Lorri O'Brien of Atlanta; sister, Diane Frank of Las Vegas; brother, Dr. Allen Kircher, Jr. of Aiken, S.C.; various other relatives also survive.

  

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 at Dahlonega Baptist Church in Dahlonega.

  

For those that wish, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emory Winship Cancer Institute, 1365C Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
