Fundraiser announced for golf team

Event to be held at Sugar Hill Golf Course

Coach Van Samples, head boys’ golf coach at Dawson County High School, has announced a fundraising golf tournament to be played at Sugar Hill Golf Course.

  

All proceeds will go to the Dawson County High School golf program.

  

The tournament will be held on July 27 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration will be held from 8-9 a.m. that morning.

  

Format for the event will be a 4-man scramble. Cost for the tournament will be $100 per player or $400 per team.

  

The entry fee will include green fee, tee gifts, hole-in-one prize, door prizes and a cash prize for tournament and lunch.

  

A sponsor may also purchase a hole and tee advertisement for $125.
