Rev. George Elwin Beasley, Sr., 57, of Dawsonville, died Friday, May 23, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dean Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Beasley of Dawsonville; children, James Beasley, Colby Ivan Beasley, both of Dawsonville, George, Jr. and April Beasley of Covington, Dale and Chris Harrison of Douglas, Vista Beasley of Miami Beach, Fla., Matthew and Natasha Beasley of Hollywood, Fla., Charlie and John Jowers of Douglas; mother, Judith Beasley of Douglas; brothers and sisters, Bobby Beasley of South Carolina, Dan and Cindy Beasley of Douglas, Frances and Dave Nixon of Lafayette, Darlene Beasley of Lafayette and Joyce Beasley of Douglas; six grandchildren, Austin Beasley, Brooklyn Harrison, Grace Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Rebecca Little and Nathan Beasley; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were Monday, May 26 at 1 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Chris Lawson and John Huff officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
