Keith and Tammy Chester of Dawsonville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Cherish Hope Chester of Dawsonville to Cory Nathaniel Gilleland of Dawsonville. He is the son of Stacy Gilleland and Sandra Gilleland, both of Dawsonville.

  

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of RT and Carolyn Bruce, Clayton Chester and the late Normalee Chester, all of Dawsonville.

  

She is a 2004 graduate of Dawson County High School and a 2006 graduate of Lanier Technical College with a degree in cosmetology. She is currently employed as a master stylist with Bella Sol Salon in Dawsonville.

  

The groom-elect is the grandson of Margaret Payne and the late J.C. Daniel and Gene Gilleland and the late Geneva Gilleland, all of Dawsonville.

  

He is a 2002 graduate of Dawson County High School and a 2007 graduate of North Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

  

He is currently employed as an electrician with Capital Electric in Alpharetta.

  

The couple plans to exchange vows at 5 p.m. July 25, 2009 at Winds of Peace Fellowship in Dawsonville.
