Mike Stevenson and Kathleen Martin, both of Dawsonville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Kathleen Stevenson, to Chase Vaughn Grosse. He is the son of Charles W. and Nancy L. Grosse of Cumming.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter Martin of Dawsonville and George and Joann Stevenson of Florida.

She is a 2004 graduate of Forsyth Central High School in Cumming and received her associate’s degree in general studies in 2009 from Gainesville State College.

She is currently employed as a teller at Chestatee State Bank.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Maggie Thomas of Brandenburg, Ky. And Charles and Carolyn Grosse of Louisville, Ky.

He is a 2002 graduate of North Forsyth High School and received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Georgia College & State University in 2008.

He is currently employed as a bookkeeper with Ingles in Dawsonville.
