John Henry Millwood

John Henry Millwood, 70, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Thursday, June 25, 2009.

  

Mr. Millwood was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church and of the United Auto Workers Union.

  

His daughter, Sherie Ledbetter; parents, Virgil Clayton and Eva Lee Millwood preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Helen Millwood of Forsyth County; daughters, Suzanne Milton, Wendy and Ronnie Holloway, Tammy and Danny Bennett and Daphne and Scott Martin; son-in-law, Bill Ledbetter; sisters, Faye Holman, Marceile Roper and Pat Reid; brother, Roger Howell Millwood; grandchildren, Balin DeLoach, Chazz Milton, Hannah Bennett, Hillary Martin, Sydney Holloway, Ivy Holloway and Eli Bennett; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Rawlins and Dennis Roper officiating.

  

Interment followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
