Stanley Ray Bagwell

Stanley Ray Bagwell, 59, a lifelong resident and fourth generation of Forsyth County, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008.

 

Mr. Bagwell was president of Bagwell and Mathis Tire Inc, one of the oldest family businesses in Forsyth County.

 

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cumming and a graduate of the University of Georgia.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Myron Bagwell.

 

Survivors include his wife, Susan (Gravitt) Bagwell of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Emily (Bagwell) and Adrian Flack of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Ray and Tamara (Huwiler) Bagwell of Gainesville; grandchildren, Polly Jane Flack and expected child of Sam and Tamara; mother, Thelma Mundy Bagwell of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Linda Bagwell of Cumming; sister, Jeannine Bagwell of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were Friday, July 25 at 4 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Jolly officiating.

 

Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
