Louise S. Wiley

Louise S. Wiley, 86, of Enota Avenue, NW, Gainesville, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

 

Mrs. Wiley was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was a charter member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Wiley.

 

Earlier in her life, she was a candy striper at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was also a member of the Golden Nuggets at Lakewood Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim McClendon of Dawsonville; three sons and their wives, Lyndal (Butch) and Anita Wiley of Tacoma, Wash., Larry Joe and Laura Wiley of Jonesboro, Loyal and Phyllis Wiley of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myra Lee Scarborough of Flowery Branch; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were Sunday, July 27 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Don Ormsbee officiated.

 

Memorial Park Funeral Home of Gainesville was in charge of the arrangements.
