Joseph V. "Ski" Bojarski

Joseph V. "Ski" Bojarski, 60, of Dawsonville, died Saturday, May 16, 2009.

  

Born in Queens, N.Y., Mr. Bojarski had lived in Dawson County for the past 20 years, having moved from Norcross.

  

Until his retirement, he was a partner in Phoenix Electric in Lawrenceville, Ga.

  

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam and had a passion for gardening, landscaping and possessed a love for his animals.

  

Survivors include his wife, Janice Bojarski of Dawsonville; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Leigh and Mitch Irby of Lawrenceville; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Irby and Madi Irby; various other relatives also survive.

  

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dawson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 360, Dawsonville, GA 30534 or to the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
