This is turning out to be the most successful Tiger golf team in history, as the boys continue their winning ways.

Head Coach Van Samples’ group picked up two wins last week over Forsyth Central, 160-179, and Rabun County, 160-172.

The team is currently 8-2 on the season.

Dawson will be off, for spring break, and will return to action Tuesday, April 14 against Flowery Branch at Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville.

Zach Williams and Wesley Bearden both had great 9-holes against Forsyth Central on Tuesday, March 31. Williams came in with a 38, while Bearden’s 39 paced the Tigers to victory.

The flexibility of Dawson’s golf team showed on Wednesday, when Cody Palmer was the low medalist against Rabun County. Palmer shot a 38 in the huge Region 8-AA victory.

Matt Christopher and Justin Denard also had a terrific round with both shooting a 39. Nick Fitts finished the 9-hole event with a 44 at Kingswood Golf Course in Clayton.
