Dorothy E. Wood

Dorothy E. Wood, 82, of Dahlonega, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.

 

She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Alpharetta.

 

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Howard Wood.

 

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Mike Malone, Vera and Phillip Barrett, all of Dahlonega, Becky and Tim Thompson of Alpharetta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were Friday, July 18 at 2 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment followed at Green Lawn Cemetery Saturday, July 19 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Alan Sutton officiating.

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
