Lady Tiger golfers remain undefeated

The Dawson County Lady Tiger golf team improved to 5-0 on the season with three wins last week.

  

Head Coach Shari Chastain’s team defeated Lumpkin 92-118 on Monday, 92-129 against Jackson County last Wednesday, and 102-121 with Flowery Branch on Thursday.

  

Charley Whitmire posted a low score of 43 against Lumpkin County. Fellow senior Katie Stowers came home with a 9-hole total of 49.

  

Kayna Clemons posted a 57 for Lumpkin.

  

Against Jackson County, both Whitmire and Stowers posted a 46 in the team’s victory.

  

The Lady Tigers received their fifth straight win with a 19-stroke victory over Flowery Branch at Chestatee Golf Course on Thursday.

  

Once again, Whitmire fired an incredible score of 43 to get the low medalist.

  

Rachel Dotson and Tayler Hasbrouck both shot a 59 to help secure the win for the Lady Tigers.
