For the second time in two weeks the Tiger golf team set a new 9-hole school record.

The team posted a 158 against Jackson County last Wednesday to set the new record. Dawson won the match with a score of 158-180 over the Panthers.

Tiger senior Nick Fitts and junior Cody Palmer each finished the round with a 38. While Matt Christopher and Zach Williams shot a pair of 41’s in the Tiger win.

Dawson also picked up a win on Thursday with a 165-190 win over Flowery Branch at Chestatee Golf Course.

Wesley Bearden fired a low round of 40 followed by Matt Christopher and Cody Palmer with a 41. Nick Fitts and Zach Williams also had good rounds with both of them coming home with a 43.

The Tigers are currently 4-2 on the season.
