Renee Hardin

Renee Hardin, 85, of Cumming, died April 30, 2014.

Born March 26, 1929 in High Point, N.C. to the late Riley Augustus and Ethel Roberta Deaton, she had lived in Forsyth County since 2005, having moved from Daytona Beach Shores, Fla.

Mrs. Hardin was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Her sister, Joyce Deaton; and brother, Maynond Deaton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Harold G. Hardin Sr. of Cumming; children, Joy and Martin Jones of Peachtree City, Janet and Bill Manke of Acworth, Hal and Shelly Hardin of Cumming; grandchildren, Todd Jones of Grayson, Brian Jones of LaGrange; five great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. May 3 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Blackstock and Todd Jones officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Gardens.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
