Brenda “Flip” Scott

Brenda "Flip" Scott, 56, of Dawsonville, died March 30, 2014.

Born Jan. 27, 1958, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she had lived in the area for the past 26 years.

Flip was a department manager at Walmart in Cumming for 26 years.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who possessed a beautiful, loving smile.

Her father, Leonard O'Hanlon; grandson, Kenny Stewart; and a sister, Nancy O'Hanlon, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Chris and Leann Miles of Oakwood, Sarah Miles of Newton, Ala., Anna Miles of Dawsonville; eight grandchildren; her companion, Juan Ramirez; mother, Janet O'Hanlon of East Liverpool, Ohio; sister, Sue O'Hanlon of Cumming; brothers, Mike O'Hanlon of Oakwood, Lenny O'Hanlon of Pennsylvania; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. April 3 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Tim Bennett officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
