Caldwell leads lady golfers

Madison Caldwell continues to play well for the Lady Tigers golf team. Caldwell shot an even par 36 at Crystal Falls Golf Course against Fannin and Gilmer counties on March 11.

The team came away with a 167-200 win over Fannin County and a 167-192 victory against Gilmer County.

Lady Tigers Tatum Pruett carded a 65, followed by Heather Hensley with a 66.

Caldwell was also low medalist against Buford at Chateau Elan on March 10. Caldwell shot a 38 for the Lady Tigers in the nine-hole event.

It wasn't enough as the Lady Tigers were defeated 143-174 by Buford.

The Lady Tigers are currently 4-3 on the season.

This week Dawson County will have a match against Chestatee and West Hall at Chestatee Golf Club on Thursday.
