Kylie Michelle Yates to wed Shawn Robert Johnson

Gary and Cindy Yates of Panama City Beach, Fla., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kylie Michelle Yates, to Shawn Robert Johnson.

He is the son of Bob and Tina Johnson of Buford.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Dawson County High School. She is a 2010 graduate of North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor's in business administration.

She has worked for MarketSource for two and a half years and is currently a manager for the Target Mobile Support Team.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Flowery Branch High School. He is currently in school at Georgia College working toward his information technology degree. He is currently a manager at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.

The couple plans to wed at 5 p.m. May 10, at the Carillon Beach Meeting House in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Following the wedding, the couple will honeymoon on the Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas.

The couple will make their home in Cumming.
