William Hugh “Hugh Bob” Carnes

William Hugh "Hugh Bob" Carnes, 66, of Cumming, died Jan. 12, 2014.

A top-notch mechanic and business owner, Hugh loved to fish and hunt and would have rather been outside than anywhere else.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Dianne Carnes of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Denise Carnes of Cumming, James and Barbara Carnes of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Judy Carnes of Cleveland, Eugene and Annette Carnes of Cumming; sisters and brother-in-law, Loyce and Cloyse Hicks of Cumming, Barbara Reagin of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Myron Carnes, Seth Carnes, Shanna and Craig Oliver; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 14 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Tony Estes and Joey Wigley officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
