Betty Fowler Miller

Betty Fowler Miller, 85, of Forsyth County, died Nov. 27, 2012.

She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Forsyth County.

Betty was a retired Para-pro at Chestatee Elementary, as well as an avid pet lover.

Her parents, James and Ovelle Burdett; and her first husband, James A. Fowler, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace Miller; children, Mike and Debbie Fowler of Gainesville, Brenda and Larry Partee of Dacula, Randy and Connie Fowler, Becky and James Ivey, all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Freeman Willis of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Patricia Smith of Dawsonville; brother-in-law, Mike Miller; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 30 in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Keith Martin, Shad Faulkner and Jeff Wilkie officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Salem Baptist Church.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
