J.C. Grogan, 77, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 following an extended illness.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Minnie S. Grogan of Dawsonville; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Cindy Grogan of Gainesville; daughter, Stacy Jones of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Tyler and Alex Jones, Brandon Grogan and Sydney Grogan; sister-in-law, Ineal Grogan of Ala.; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 9 at 1 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jimmy Orr, Scott Sorrels and Jason Hamby officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
