Lewis J. “L.J.” Perry

Lewis J. "L.J." Perry, 57, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 4, 2012.

Born Feb. 18, 1955, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mr. Perry formerly worked as a carpenter and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam.

His father, Albert Perry, and brothers, Russell Perry, Roy Lee Perry and Leon Perry, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Marty Perry of Jasper; mother, Lorene Perry of Dawsonville; sister, Sue Howard of Jasper; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Tinsley officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
