Pheasant shoot to benefit students at Lanier Tech

A shooting event in Hall County will benefit Lanier Technical College.

The Second Annual European Pheasant Shoot will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at 7743 Persimmon Tree Road in Lula.

Cost is $275 and includes the release of 300 birds that will be retrieved, cleaned and divided equally among all shooters. Lunch will also be provided.

A skeet shoot will be held at 10 a.m. followed by two pheasant shooting rounds.

The first will be at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. The second round will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Set-up will include more than 20 shooting stations with one to three shooters per station. Shooters will rotate stations every 20 birds.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Lanier Technical College Foundation, which provides scholarships to students.


Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $200 and $400.
