Lannie D. Vickers

Lannie D. Vickers, 60, of Winder, died March 8, 2013.

Born Dec. 7, 1952, in Atlanta, to the late Roy and Wilma Sheriff Vickers, he lived most of his life in Gwinnett County before moving to Winder six years ago.

Mr. Vickers worked along with his father and brothers as a brick mason.

His brothers, Roger Vickers and Jerry Vickers, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Wanda Britt of Winder; nieces, Denise and Carrie; nephews, Kevin, Keith and David; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. March 10 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor James Daigle officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
