Jason Harben

Jason Harben, 36, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 23, 2013.

Born Aug. 31, 1976, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.

Mr. Harben was a partner in Harben Trucking and worked in operations and delivery for Frosty Mountain Water.

He was a graduate of Dawson County High School, was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church and enjoyed riding his Harley, hot rods, racing, camping and fishing.

His mother, Janice Rowell Harben; sister, Danielle Harben; grandfathers, Warren Harben and Johnny Stephens; and an aunt, Gayle Beebe, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Jenaline Harben of Dawsonville; father, Danny Harben of Dawsonville; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Amelia Rugay of the Philippines; grandparents, Maude Harben, Aline Stephens, Buddy Rowell, all of Dawsonville; aunts and uncles, Sammy and Cyndi Harben, Shirley Ann Ware, Debbie Rowell, all of Dawsonville, Sherri and Bob Kelly of Dacula, Valerie and Todd Binning of Cumming, Vanessa and Jim Williams of Lebanon, Tenn.; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Weldy, Dennis Bottoms and the Pastor Sammy Harben officiating. Interment followed in the Juno Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be sent to Embracing Hospice, 8013 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30041 or to Juno Baptist Church.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
