Margie Barnett Tate

Margie Barnett Tate, 74, of Cumming, died Feb. 9, 2013.

Her husband of 46 years, Miles Everett Tate, preceded her in death.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

For many years Margie enjoyed her work with The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9143 and their charities.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Karen Seabolt of Cumming, Sharon and Keith Staples of Jackson; son, Thomas Tate of Cumming; sister, Beverly Stancil of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Barbara Barnett of Cumming; grandchildren, Derek and Chad Seabolt, Jennifer and Stephen Vasil, Ben Staples; great-grandson, Cooper Vasil; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Shad Faulkner, Jerry Frazier and Jerry McCormick officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
