Jerry Ray Davis, 58, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 3, 2013.

Born June 8, 1954, in Memphis, Tenn. to the late Howard and Virginia Davis, Mr. Davis was a driver for Celadon Trucking Services.

He possessed a great love for his family, friends and driving.

Jerry enjoyed his former days as a firefighter and was known for his witty sayings and looking like a member of ZZ Top.

His brother, Michael Davis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Tina Delvecchio and Jamesina Day; sons, Michael Davis and David Davis; 11 grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Mr. Davis requested no formal services be held for him, but to be remembered in your own hearts.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
