Leon Jackson Johnson

Leon Jackson Johnson, 77, of Cumming, died Feb. 3, 2013.

Leon loved God, family, friends and the great outdoors.

He was also a lifelong member of Cumming Second Baptist Church.

His parents, Hoyt and Oria Johnson; sisters, Gladys Boling, Betty Webb; and a brother, Calvin Johnson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Chumbler Johnson; children, Terry Johnson, Jeffrey and Cindy Johnson, Gary and Tammy Johnson, Sherry and Mike Tallant, Karen and Shane Mott, Kenny Johnson and fiancé, Christie Hill; brother, Jarrell Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Janice Johnson; grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Julie and Corey Edwards, Jeremy Johnson, Mathew Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Dalton Ledbetter, Ashley Mott, Austin Ledbetter, Carly Mott, Kaelyn Hill, Trey Hill; great-grandchildren, Mason Edwards; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 6 at Cumming Second Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Elzey, Jerry Orr and Eddie Cain officiating. Interment followed at Coal Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Feb. 6.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
