MC Perry

MC Perry, 75, of Dahlonega, died Jan. 10, 2013.

MC was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and worked as a truck driver for Ledford Trucking.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Perry was the son of the late Calvin and Lois Crawford Perry.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Clark Perry; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Perry of Dawsonville; stepdaughter and her spouse, Cindi and Sam Farmer of Norton, Va.; stepdaughter, Kristina Mobley of Dahlonega; brothers and sisters-in-law, JW and Helen Perry of Lawrenceville, Doug and Terri Perry of Dahlonega; brother, Randy Chester Perry of Dawsonville; sister, Jamie Perry of Clermont; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Henry Johnson of Dawsonville, Sally and Harvey Robinson of Fairburn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Phil and Charlene Clark of Universal City, Texas; brother-in-law, Michael Clark of Palmetto; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 13 in the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with the Rev. Les Fuller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church: Steven Reese, RE: Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 227 Deerfield Dr., Cleveland, GA 30528.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
