Middle school Tigers take down Eagles

POSTED: December 25, 2012 4:30 p.m.

The Dawson County Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team defeated cross-county rival Riverview Middle, 34-8, last week.

Kolton Brumbelow, Reed McCallister, Joseph Cronan and Corey Hammond scored six point each for the Tigers in the Dec. 17 win.

Dorian Richards and Colin Glover contributed two points each and Jacob Branson added one point for head coach Jonathan Tinsley's team.

With the win, Dawson County Middle improved its record to 4-2.

Both teams are currently off until after winter break.
