Burgess once again had the opportunity to play some of the younger players.

"I was very pleased how we came out in both games and took complete control. Our defense held two very athletic teams from the Columbus area," said Burgess. "It was a good trip to get away for a couple of days. Every one of our players contributed on the trip to Columbus. Our players were focused from the jump ball and played from beginning to end. I thought they played with a lot of confidence and great effort."

The Tigers will play at 8:30 p.m. at home Thursday against West Forsyth High School.
