Carey Edmund Schreiman

Carey Edmund Schreiman died Dec. 7, 2012.

Carey was the owner and founder of Coal Mountain Woodworking Company, having operated in Cumming since 1979.

He had a natural talent for working with wood and designing and finishing cabinetry.

Carey also had a great passion for riding motorcycles and completed his lifelong dream of riding to Alaska and back in 2009 with one of his close friends.

His parents, Edmund F. and Mary Ann Schreiman, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Schreiman; sons, Dan Schreiman and Donny Schreiman; sister, Kathy Schreiman; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Al Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Coleen Schreiman; nieces and nephews, Tim and Ann Carol Murray, Katie and Eliot Jones, Catie Schreiman, Kimberly and Dan Young; various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10, with a moment of remembrance held at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
