Raymond Stephen Carver

Raymond Stephen Carver, 83, of Cumming, died Dec. 1, 2012.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. Carver was a Korean War veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired after 40 years as an engineer with AT&T.

He was very active in the youth program at Medlock Park in Decatur for many years and was a member of Unicoi Springs Camping Resort in Helen for 27 years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Carver of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Rob Morris of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Debra Carver of Dahlonega, John and Pam Carver of Dawsonville; three sisters; one brother; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
