Alex Owen Pagel

Alex Owen Pagel, 21, of Gainesville, died Nov. 22, 2012.

Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of Janice Pagel of Gainesville and Mark and Cinde Pagel of Cumming.

Alex graduated from North Forsyth High School.

He played electric guitar and wrote his own songs.

He loved his car and his engine "to be" - and his Frank's Hot Sauce.

He was an avid snowboarder.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his grandmother, Barbara Horn of Minocqua, Wis.; brother, Michael Pagel of Gainesville; sister, Holly Pagel of Gainesville; various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 25 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Cumming. The eulogy was expressed at 6 p.m.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
