Jimmy and Sheila Holbrook of Dawsonville would like to invite everyone to the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Erika Renee Holbrook to Kyle Edward Woody the son of Ellen and Steven Woody of Dawsonville.

  

The couple became engaged in October of 2008. The wedding is scheduled for 6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at Liberty Baptist Church in Dawsonville.

  

The reception will immediately follow at The Reid’s Barn, 6820 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30040. 

  

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Thelma Byrd and the late Marcus Byrd and the late Clayton and Mazelle Holbrook, all of Dawsonville.

  

She is a graduate of Dawson County High School. Erika graduated from Gainesville State University with an Associates Degree in Applied Science.  She then attended Lanier Technical College and received her degree in Cosmetology. 

  

She is currently employed with Platinum Scissors Salon.

  

Kyle is the grandson of Charles and Frances Woody of Dawsonville and the late Pete and Louise Talton of Tucker. He is a graduate of Dawson County High School. Kyle attended Truett McConnell College, where he was a member of the Truett McConnell Bears Baseball Team.

  

He is currently employed with Sawnee EMC.

  

Both families hope that you will join them for this celebration of new beginnings.
