Janet Blair Brown, 53, of Dahlonega, died Oct. 29, 2012.

Mrs. Brown was born in Columbia, S.C., the daughter of Polly Blair and the late Thomas Blair of Lugoff, S.C.

She was a retired real estate broker and lived in Dahlonega for the past 22 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky DeWayne Brown of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Dallas Troy and Heather Brown of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Brown-Lemley and Jason Lemley of Sautee Nacoochee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rand and Kristi Blair of Texas, Kenny and Jackie Blair of South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dudley Lybrand of South Carolina; grandchildren, Isaac and Hunter Brown, Malaya Brown and Everett Lemley; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service for Mrs. Brown was held at 3 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Robert Prim officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made in memory of Janet Blair Brown to the American Cancer Society, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Dahlonega Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
